collaborative work in exhibition design, artifacts, and experience. Honoured to have worked with Shaya Ishaq and Dr. Lisa Moffat on these projects.

Library of infinities marks my most ambitious built project to date. Relying heavily on collaboration with the artist, all sculptural pieces would first be designed and constructed using 3D modeling software to determine feasibility and material quantities. With an extremely short construction window, all 26 pieces were designed, built, and finished within approximately 4 weeks prior to exhibition opening. Displayed from August 2021 - October 2021, the Library of Infinities is now exhibiting across several galleries in Canada.

Here, a series of bent lamination frames were constructed to support the weavings of the artist, Shaya Ishaq. The cantilevered arcs required rapid prototyping to ensure stability as the weight of the textiles were yet to be known. Experimentation with lamination techniques offered new and previously unknown modes of work. for more information on the exhibit, click the button!

I was commissioned by Dr. Lisa Moffit to design and construct a series of display tables and support trestles for her exhibition “Architecture’s Model Environment” at the Rhode Island School of Design. In order to facilitate shipping to and fro, the tables and legs would also be assembled as the shipping crate for the artifacts. Balancing protective requirements, weight restrictions, and gallery quality displays were a welcomed challenge for this traveling project. Click the button to find out more!
